Why patient feedback matters to me

Dr Webberley reflects on the importance of hearing from patients and what their feedback means for her work.

When someone takes the time to share their experience with me, it genuinely makes my day. Feedback from patients tells me whether I'm doing what I set out to do: to listen well, to explain clearly, and to support people through their healthcare journey.

Whether it's a word of thanks, a suggestion for how I could do things differently, or even a criticism I hadn't considered before, each piece of feedback helps me understand my impact more clearly. It keeps me grounded and reminds me why this work matters so much.

If you've had experiences with my care or educational work that you'd like to share, I'd genuinely love to hear from you. Your voice helps shape how I practise and teach.
